Thompson Technologies believes strongly in social responsibility. With different initiatives every quarter, Thompson is dedicated to supporting organizations that provide services and assistance to those in need. Whether it is through gathering and distribution of overnight care packages, serving lunches or dinners for various shelters or sponsoring and volunteering their time at fundraising events, the Thompson team is making a difference in lives across the metro area!
This summer, Thompson turned their conference room into an assembly line to make sandwiches for MUST Ministries’ Summer Lunch Program. MUST Ministries is an organization dedicated to providing services to persons and families in crisis while maintaining their dignity. The Summer Lunch Program was created to ensure children who are eligible for free lunches during the school year also receive lunch during the summer.
“Giving back to our community is part of the fabric that makes Thompson Technologies one of Atlanta’s best places to work,” stated Laura Carlino, Thompson’s Relationship Manager. “Our employees have a propensity to take action and help others, and we are passionate about supporting local causes that affect the society in which we live.”
Upcoming events include their United Way Annual Campaign and volunteering with The JOY Foundation of Georgia’s Shop with a HERO program to help children in need shop for holiday gifts for their family.
