16 years of tradition and growth
Wednesday, June 1, 2011 – Kennesaw, GA – This year Zoo Atlanta hosted Thompson Technologies Annual Picnic. With perfect weather, a new baby panda, and the chance to win multiple prizes, it was impossible not to have fun this year! Thompson Technologies invited all of their local clients, consultants and vendor partners to enjoy a day dedicated to them and their families.
There was a face painter, caricaturist, all day access to the park, and a raffle. The raffle prizes were donated by Thompson Technologies’ vendors and 100% the proceeds went to help MUST Ministries and Orphan Concern International. Last year, the picnic’s raffle helped raise $3,000 for charity, this year Thompson and friends raised almost $5,000 with the draw of two Apple iPad2s, children’s bicycles, and gift certificates for a night on the town to help benefit the two charities. Lane Henderson, Corporate Relations for MUST Ministries, is grateful for the continued partnership.
“MUST Ministries is most grateful for the generous contribution from Thompson Technologies and we are so appreciative of not only your company’s financial support, but also the gift of your time and energy…we depend on financial contributions from companies like yours that place a strong emphasis on giving back to the community. Thompson Technologies truly embodies a company that hires people who care and a company that acts on its intentions.”
Thompson’s Annual Picnic is a way to say thank you and give back to employees, clients and the community. Former consultant, Linda Quass, has been a regular attendee of Thompson picnics, and appreciates all they do, “Thompson Technologies is the best and no other company can compare, everyone else has to come up to meet the minimum standards at Thompson!”
Thompson looks forward to continuing this tradition and to raise the standard both in the work place and in the communities we serve.
