Thompson Technologies Hosts 14th Annual Picnic at Lake Lanier Islands

Monday, June 23, 2014 – Kennesaw, GA – Thompson Technologies was pleased to host their 14th annual picnic at Lake Lanier Islands Resort in Buford, GA on June 14, 2014 where clients, consultants, and employees were invited to enjoy a fun day in the sun.

The picnic was held at Lake Lanier’s Harbor Tent, where lunch was served and a charitable raffle was held for the benefit of Camp Sunshine (http://www.campsunshine.org/), a local organization that provides support to children with cancer and their families.  This year, $2,000.00 was raised for the foundation which was matched by Founder, David Thompson to make an overall contribution of $4,000.00. The pavilion was located directly adjacent to the Lanier World water park where attendees and their families were encouraged to enjoy the water attractions both before and after the main event.

“This year’s picnic was a huge success!  Lot’s of great food, cool-down time in the water park, DJ and even a pontoon boat!  Most exciting was that we were able to raise over $4,000 for Camp Sunshine which focuses on children with cancer.  All in all, it was a great day!” – David Thompson

Thompson is proud to continue this tradition and to raise the standard both in the work place and in the communities we serve.
